Several members gave details of their own police ancestors including Denise who told the Group about two Luker brothers – one who rose to a high position in the police and the other who turned to crime! (November) Christmas Event It was lovely to finally meet up again in Church Cottage for our traditional Christmas gathering. Strict Covid rules were followed and everyone brought their own (very impressive) picnics. A genealogy/Christmas/history quiz was provided and competed for in teams of 6 with Table 3
coming out as winners. A festive time was had by all. (December) The Group does not meet in December. Forthcoming Meetings:
