Edgewood Veterinary Group
HIGHEST STANDARDS
Edgewood Veterinary Group aspires to work to the highest standards of veterinary care. This is achieved by investing in both the staff we employ and the facilities we offer. We have a policy of employing qualified and training veterinary nurses and vets with extensive knowledge and experience. All the veterinary surgeons have their own areas of expertise giving us an extremely broad knowledge of veterinary medicine and surgery. We actively promote professional development of all of our staff to ensure we continue to offer the most up-to-date clinical advice and treatment options for your pet. An important part of our ongoing training programme is regular staff meetings during which we discuss client feedback and ways of improving the practice. Our facilities are comprehensive with advanced equipment including digital x-ray equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, air powered equipment for dentistry and a fully equipped laboratory. The combination of excellent staff training and our investment in modern equipment allows us to offer our patients the care they need in house. This means that in most cases, pets can be treated quickly and effectively at Edgewood Veterinary Group, such as neutering, x-rays, dentals, lump removals, wound care, blood tests, blood transfusions, ultrasonography, radiography, endoscopy, electrocardiography, cardiological examinations and hospitalisation are carried out at the main branch at Purleigh. We also have a peripatetic surgeon visiting Purleigh as and when he is required to do advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. However, in those rare instances where your pet requires care beyond the facilities at Edgewood Veterinary Group, we will endeavour to promptly arrange a referral to a specialist offering the expertise and facilities your pet needs.
