Treasurer and at least one other Trustee will need to be elected by you at our next AGM set, as I have said above, for the evening of Tuesday June 17th via Zoom. Holding the AGM via Zoom proved very effective last year, allowing as it did for members around the country and, indeed, around the world, to take part. This means that, in effect, HGS Trustees could volunteer remotely from elsewhere in the country and even from somewhere else in the world, because more of our meetings are being held via Zoom. Hampshire Family Historian. It’s that time of year again! With my remaining time in office, I am endeavouring to complete all the tasks I decided to achieve between April / June 2023 and now. In my final Chairman’s letter to you in the June 2025 issue of this Journal, I hope to set out what those achievements have been so that any incoming Chairman and Trustees can see they’ll have a lot less catching up to do in the future than the present Executive Committee / Trustees / Volunteers have been through to get where the Society is today.
