As the society now operates a rolling year for membership renewals expiry dates are in line with the month in which a member signed up. You can check your renewal date on the website in the Member’s Area under membership details. Long standing members will be aware that their membership expires around the end of March. The subscription rate is £15 for single or joint membership. Payment can be made by one of the following ways: Online at www.hgs-familyhistory.com - Using Paypal or credit/debit card to set up a recurring payment. It is also possible to make a one-off payment with a credit/debit card. By Direct Debit – a form can be downloaded from the website or requested from the Membership Secretary and returned to the address below. The reference number on the form should be 6 figures and is your membership number preceded by zeros. This method ensures automatic renewal of your subscription each year. A sterling cheque – this must be drawn on a UK bank account: made out to The Hampshire Genealogical Society and posted to the Membership Secretary at the address below. Please ensure that you put your membership number on the back of the cheque. Through Genfair at www.genfair.co.uk – Enter Hampshire Genealogical Society in the search box. This method incurs a 0.50p administrative surcharge. BACS payments accepted, please contact membership for account details When setting up a recurring payment or direct debit please remember to cancel any other subscription payments to the Society which you may have in place.
