FUN, ENGAGING & THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES Some of the many activities we provide are; cultural days, themed tea parties and dining experiences, floristry workshops, gardening club, arts & crafts, beauty sessions, trips out to nearby attractions, live musical entertainers – tap, jive and Irish dancers, Ukulele players, Motown singers, tribute acts and visiting animals – alpacas, monkeys and even penguins to name a few! COMMUNITY OUTREACH Oak Lodge has a number of partnerships with local nurseries and primary schools because intergenerational therapy enhances nursing care. The children come to enjoy activities with our residents who have built affectionate relationships with each other, widening our care community.

Prioritising Wellbeing

Oak Lodge is a member of the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA), a charity that champions the importance of activity, engagement and overall wellbeing. We have also partnered with Famileo, where families can share updates and photos from their own day-to-day lives via the Famileo app to create personalised newsletters for our residents.
