HANG I NG AND C L EAN I NG I NSTRUCT I ONS FOR NATURAL MATE R I AL WAL LCOV E R I NGS

Thank you for choosing this award winning wallcovering. We use sustainable real wood which is sliced into thin veneers, dye cut, and hand laid into a stunning range of patterns. For the best results, we strongly recommend that a professional wallcovering installer should hang these wallcoverings. • Due to the characteristics of the natural materials used, there may be slight variations in colour batches or even within a batch. For this reason always ensure that you have the correct amount of wallcovering to finish the job. • When unpacking material you may see it does not lay flat. DO NOT BACK ROLL the material, as it will relax once pasted. Back rolling may cause stressing of the appliques. • The walls to be covered must be flat and properly prepared to insure that the wallpaper will adhere to the wall surface. Even the strongest adhesive can only work when the wall surface is clean and properly prepared. • Natural material wallcoverings are difficult to clean so please do not get the adhesive on the front face. If adhesive does accidentally get on the face blot off excess paste immediately with a soft, moist rag and dry with a dry towel. Do not scrub or rub. • Since wood veneer wallpapers are backed with paper, please moisten the back with some clean water which aids in ensuring the product lays flat and adheres to the wall properly. It is important that you avoid saturating the product. • Both paste and excessive water will change the colour of the wood veneer on the face of the paper. • Use strips in the exact order as they are cut from the roll. Move the roller up and down and then frommiddle to the edges, squeezing out any air or redundant glue left on the wall. Make sure that the wallcovering sticks to your wall tightly. • This product should be butt jointed, or overlapped and double cut before hanging. Make sure to use a very sharp knife. • Natural material wallcoverings cannot be used in a damp environment or be left where they can be damaged. • Do not open doors or windows for 48 hours after installation. • Colour may fade or change when exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time, it is preferable to keep material away from direct sunlight. • Wallcoverings may be cleaned using a soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner or, if required, with a very lightly damp sponge. These wallcoverings cannot be washed so do not scrub or rub. DA I LY MA I NTENANC E OF NATURAL MATE R I AL WAL LCOV E R I NGS
