Blended Loam Topsoil

Hallstone amenity turf is a ryegrass/fescue seed mix sown, grown and harvested by our sister company, Rolawn. Hallstone lawn turf is functional and produced at a competitive price through reduced use of fertilisers and herbicides. All Hallstone turf is put through the Rolawn Profresh ® system. This system extends the ‘as harvested’ freshness of our turf, ensuring it arrives in a healthy, ready to lay condition. • Easy to maintain throughout the year • Fast rooting, making it very effective at establishing in its new location • Multi-purpose – can be used for any garden or landscaping projects Turf must be rolled out within 24 hours of delivery in autumn /winter and immediately in spring /summer. Hallstone Blended Loam Topsoil is a high-quality general-purpose topsoil trusted by landscapers, gardeners and builders. It is blended from carefully selected natural topsoil and peat free organic soil conditioners. Our topsoils are fully tested for horticultural properties to ensure suitability in the most sensitive of end uses such as residential properties where fruit and vegetables are grown and children play. • Peat free • Rich in organic matter • Consistent high fertility • Screened to limit stone content • Quality assured through independent testing • Fully traceable • A safe and reliable topsoil meeting BS3882:2015 as suitable for residential homegrown use Recent independent testing showed that our Blended Loam outperforms 75% of similar UK topsoils across both safety and quality measures.*

Bark Mulch Hardwood Play Chips

Our Bark Mulch is a competitively priced, premium grade product. Ideal for general- purpose landscaping, bark mulch can enhance the appearance and performance of landscaping schemes in many ways. Mulching is beneficial to plants and soil as it can reduce surface evaporation, suppress weeds, moderate soil temperature fluctuations, protect shallow root plants from frost and, as it eventually breaks down over time, it adds essential nutrients to the soil.

Our Hardwood Play Chips meet British Standards for impact absorption, making them ideal for play areas and under equipment in playgrounds. They are clean and durable and can be used as an alternative to bark mulch in beds and borders, in paths and driveways or as flooring in animal enclosures. Our play chips are made from white wood with no additives, meaning there is no added coating which could stain clothes or affect animal wellbeing.

As an environmentally conscious bark supplier, we understand the importance of making sure our products don’t harm the environment which is why we source sustainable wood products that are FSC ® certified.
